2022 Talk About Trees Auction

Join us for Oregon Women in Timber’s 31st Annual Talk About Trees Auction - Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Doors open at 4:00 PM at the Graduate Eugene Hotel & Conference Center, 66 E 6th Ave, Eugene OR 97401 in connection with the 84th Oregon Logging Conference Meet & Greet festivities. OWIT will bring the forest to the banquet hall with a cozy, rustic theme. All are invited to celebrate with hosted beer and wine, a hearty buffet dinner, and fantastic auction items. 100% of proceeds go to OWIT's statewide forest education program, Talk About Trees. 

This year’s auction event will include a range of fun activities including our live auction, silent auction, wine wall, Partners in Education raffle, and Heads-or-Tails game. Wondering what these activities are? Well join us in person to find out. We are sure to have an activity for you to enjoy!

Richie Bros. is supporting our Talk About Trees Auction again this year by providing one of their amazing auctioneers for the live auction, so come prepared for fun and entertainment as you are bidding to support forestry education.

This year’s silent auction will be a hybrid auction with all bidding done through our auction platform. The silent auction will be set up for viewing at our event as always, but all bidding will be done electronically. This will allow anyone to participate, regardless of if they are able to attend in person or not. The silent auction items will be available for bidding from February 21st to February 23rd electronically. The silent auction will close at 8:00 PM on February 23rd.

You can go to our auction website where the items will be listed now. We encourage you to set up an account, so you are ready prior to the auction going live. If you participated in our virtual auction last year, you likely have an account. You will just need to get logged into it and update your payment information. For those bidding remotely from home, items not picked up at the end of the night will be shipped to bidders before the end of the week. Shipping costs will be added to the invoice. Arrangements can also be made to have a friend pick up items. 

There is still time to buy tickets or donate to our auction! Please utilize our electronic form linked above under "Tickets & Stuff" or “Donate Auction Item” or reach out to us via email at info@orwit.org. We can take auction donations until February 15th.

Silent Auction begins at 9:00 AM, Monday February 21st

Auction Day Schedule:
4:00 PM - Doors open for hosted bar and item viewing
6:30 PM - Dinner
7:45 PM - Auction presentations & raffles
8:00 PM - Silent auction closes and live auction begins
